Hey friends!
This season has been a whirlwind. And if I’m being honest, it hasn’t felt like the most magical holiday year. Not in the picture-perfect way. Not in the everything-is-done-and-cozy way.
But instead of chasing perfection, I’m trying to anchor myself in what’s happening right now.
A shared laugh.
A quiet moment.
A breath before moving on to the next thing.
The holidays carry a lot—noise, expectations, emotions, logistics. And when things don’t go as planned, it’s easy to feel like we missed something or didn’t do enough.
But here’s what I keep reminding myself:
The holidays aren’t meaningful because they’re perfect.
They’re meaningful because we’re present.
Presence looks like slowing down just enough to notice the small joys.
Letting “good enough” be enough.
Choosing connection over control.
You don’t need to do more today.
You don’t need to fix the vibe or make it magical.
You just need to be here.
Some of the moments that matter most don’t announce themselves. They’re quiet. Ordinary. And we often realize their value later.
So if today feels messy, calm, emotional, or not what you pictured—this is your reminder:
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re allowed to soften your expectations.
You’re allowed to enjoy what’s in front of you.
I’m sending you so much love and compassion—especially if you’re having a hard time offering it to yourself. Big hug, friend. I hope your holiday is heart-full in the moments that truly matter.
If you’d like gentle support, grounding tools, and encouragement as we move into the new year, I’d love for you to join my newsletter. It’s a space for real life—not pressure, not perfection.
You’re doing enough.
You are enough. 💛
