Hi Friends,

Wow—hello, hello! It’s spring! And what a perfect time for me to emerge from my unexpected hibernation. Does anyone else feel like a bear stretching after a long winter’s nap, soaking in the warmth of the sun? Maybe it’s just me. Or maybe it’s because I actually feel like I’m waking up from a quieter season, ready to jump back in with you all.

Life Update

So, I disappeared without notice—and I’m so sorry for that. What’s the number one thing I always talk about with you? You can’t get organized or be productive if you’re not taking care of yourself. Well, some unexpected health challenges came up, and they took more out of me than I anticipated. Clearly! And when I talk about prioritizing, I mean it. Prioritizing one thing naturally means something else gets less attention. During this time, the blog had to take a backseat.

But honestly? Winter is kind of the perfect season for that. Between the holiday chaos and the post-holiday recovery, everything already feels like a lot.

Winter Rest + Assessment

Winter is also a great time to slow down and reflect. Maybe you jumped into the new year with fresh goals and exciting new habits. Now that winter is behind us, it’s the perfect moment to check in with yourself.

  • Do you remember the goals you set in January?
  • How’s it going?
  • Have you made progress? Hit roadblocks?
  • If you’ve been sidetracked, what’s your plan to pivot and reassess?

The change of season is a natural reset. Use this time to see where you are and make any needed adjustments moving forward.

3 Things I’m Doing to Shake Off That Winter Haze

Let’s be real—winter makes it easy to slip into coziness and let some of our best habits slide. If you’re feeling a little sluggish, you’re not alone. Here are three things I’m doing to shake off the winter haze, embrace spring, and get my groove back.

1️⃣ Planning (and starting!) my garden.
This year, I’m tackling a pretty ambitious vegetable garden. I’m equal parts excited and terrified—I’ve never managed something this big before. But I love the idea of having a reason to be outside every single day and making it an activity to bond with my daughter.

2️⃣ Casually purging.
What’s that, you ask? Instead of setting aside a big chunk of time to declutter, I’m making it easy. When I notice something I don’t need, I pull it out right then and there—to donate, toss, or gift. Each little step makes me feel lighter and motivates me to keep going.

3️⃣ Filling my cup.
I’m prioritizing time with people who bring me joy. That means making plans and intentionally staying connected in between those face-to-face moments with the people I want in my inner circle.

All of these things are uplifting and motivating. And just like you, when I’m feeling good, I’m unstoppable. I get more done, I feel more resilient, and everything just flows better.
