Hi Friend,
Somewhere along the way, we started believing we had to do everything ourselves. Not just keep track of it, but actually be the one who does it—every meal, every form, every load of laundry, every little detail. It’s a lot, and honestly, it’s exhausting. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately, it might not be because you’re doing life “wrong”… it might just be because you’re doing too much alone.
So here’s your permission slip to look at your to-do list a little differently. Not just what needs to get done? but… what do I not need to carry by myself anymore?
And just to say—this doesn’t mean you have to change everything overnight. But imagine if even 5 things were off your plate, or simply shared. How would that feel? Lighter. Calmer. More doable. Start small. Pick 1–2 things and experiment. That’s where the shift really begins.
Delegate or Collaborate:
- 1. Grocery shopping → use pickup/delivery
- Running multiple errands → batch or use store pickup
- Meal prep → simplify (pre-cut, pre-made, repeat meals)
- Cleaning everything → rotate, lower standard, or outsource occasionally
- Laundry from start to finish → break it up (wash now, fold later or delegate folding)
- Deep cleaning → hire out occasionally or stretch timing
- Yard work → outsource or reduce expectations
- Car maintenance → drop-off service + wait or coordinate pickup
- Package returns → use pickup services or batch once/week
- Ordering household essentials → set up subscriptions/auto-ship
- Restocking basics → keep a running list in your phone
- Kids helping (age-appropriate) → small tasks count
- Saying yes to everything → you can delegate by not taking it on
- Scheduling meetings → use a scheduling link/tool
- Repetitive emails → templates or saved replies
- Small admin tasks → batch instead of constant switching
- Taking on extra responsibilities → pause before saying yes
- Doing everything immediately → prioritize instead of react
Small shifts like this free up real energy. You don’t have to be the only one holding it all. Start by picking 1–2 things to share, delegate, or automate and notice how much lighter life feels.
If this hit home, don’t stay stuck in the cycle of doing everything alone. You don’t have to keep doing life this way. Inside the POP Life course, I show you exactly how to turn these small shifts into routines and systems that actually support your life and your energy—so things finally feel lighter, calmer, and more doable.
